This enables the readers who many times can not afford to buy books be tempted to buy the books. Even if the book does not work the publishers do not suffer huge losses. Many times in this technique there are minimum losses and sometimes may even lead to small profits. So the publishers bear very small risks and hence generally prefer this paperback book publishing in case of upcoming authors who are no that well recognized in the market.

This kind of method is truly tested and as proved its advantages over other forms of publishing. Hence, it is one the most common modes of publishing adopted by the well-known publishers.
